I managed to get my 5800X3D for $287, when I saw it go below $300 I realized it's only gonna go up from there and on AM4 it's buy that or build new.

But you won't have to do that mid cycle upgrade, your GPU and CPU are already there.
There is NO better CPU for gaming and there are only three possible GPU's you could upgrade to, and your GPU will get the same 5 years of 1440p max that they will.

The build is 5 years old though, I built it at the tail end of the Crypto crisis, which lasted 2 years and saw $400 GPU's selling for $1100, it's the reason this build didn't get the 3060 Ti it was designed around.
But I still managed to get the CPU and GPU upgrade for less than most pay for a GPU.

It will, you have a 6 year PC at the least. The DRAM crisis won't be a thing for you, it will be long gone before you need a upgrade, there will be several other parts crisis most likely before you need a new PC.
