Travel to a mysterious ever-changing planet and gather data on the animals that live there.

There's 60 different creatures to find, all with unique behaviours and descriptions!

Finding the animal "Lighthorse", which looks like a lighthouse with legs, and a head made out of transparent cones of light.
"Stands at the coastline to act as a beacon, however it has difficulty discerning a puddle from an ocean. said to be proud of its red stripes."

Inside the spaceship, the character Turbine, who is green and has buck teeth, is saying "They say if you love your job, you'll never work a day in your life. Seems I may be the only worker here."

i designed them to fill out the primary and secondary colours! with Windmill and Vane's husband Pinwheel being Violet and Orange

i've done a few voice acting roles now, such as OFF, smile for me and great god grove, and i did most of the voices for the animals in my own game Formless Star, but i barely ever actually get to act whole sentences, just funny little sounds. one day!

i did the voice of Elsen for this version so you end up hearing me a lot. i spent a day wheezing and gasping trying to get the sound just right. i know how people feel about them and that original sound was so layered and told you so much about them, so it felt like a really important task.

i think it's also because they have a song. to make things more fair i should have written songs for all the animals rather than just 3 of them.

looking at comments on Formless Star on various websites, nearly everyone who mentions their favourite animals cites Sylvia as one of them. i think it's because they're the only one to provide a use to you, which appeals to the animal domesticating part of the human psyche.

in the early manga chapters yami yugi was basically drawn as like a fucked up evil little imp that i think the toei anime captures pretty well. the Human Pet episode is like one of the best episodes of anything ever made to me.

my local labour MP has talked in the house of commons about the famine in gaza but when i emailed him about a ceasefire he just gave me some waffling paragraph about israels rights and how "voting won't do anything", which is an astounding thing for an elected official to say.

i always read this one as having an Oni quality to it... i think because the hazard strips remind me of a tiger pelt and the backpack unit like a club.

my teacher in my final year of Primary school! she noticed i had a big interest in stop motion and gave me a VHS tape full of all the weird experimental aardman animations. a lot of it wasn't that appropriate for an 11 year old but i loved it and was fascinated by it.
