The YouTube channel "Rob Words" hours into this and more about the English language. I have no connection with that channel, just think it's great.

Ronald Reagan assumed the governorship in 1967. California had already deinstitutionalized more than half of its state hospital patients. That same year, California passed the landmark Lanterman-Petris-Short (LPS) Act, which virtually abolished involuntary hospitalization except in extreme cases.

Tom, enjoy your perspective. Mostly. Have you checked into Pahlka's book? www.recodingamerica.us If our government actually became more efficient that might be a cohesive factor. Or not.
Recoding America
In her new book, Jen Pahlka shows why we must stop trying to move the government we have today onto new technology and instead recode government from the ground up.

Mark, thanks for the work you do in lower Rx drug prices. I'd venture to say that you know more about the nuts and bolts of the medical-insurance complex than most.

Used to be considered "the mothership." Now they're actually cool. The Toyota Sienna is practically a muscle car! Lots of hp.

He didn't vote for Trump and many in the services didn't vote for Trump, either. But I take your point. Fox is still on the TV in most military bases, so there's a clear bias.

I speak regularly with a Commander in the Navy Reserves. He's not a fan of this crap. Trump Class horseshit.

Living in LA, I completely agree. There's the enormous pedigree of the Rose Parade and Bowl game, the iconic stadium, the beautiful setting in Pasadena and, of course, the weather. I went last year to root for Oregon. Bad game, beautiful experience.

I was just speaking to my Japanese friend, who told me it's often less expensive to fly to Japan for medical procedures (even dentistry) than to have it done in the USA. So, yeah.

Like Willie Sutton said when asked why he robbed banks: "It's where the money is!"

I enjoy your perspective while listening to you on SiriusXM, Bill. No "paralysis from analysis" in your game!

Well, he's apparently been "Taken."

Nick Wright, uber-Chiefs booster, explained what would have to happen in order for the Chiefs to make the playoffs on his show yesterday. The Chargers have a daunting path before them but the win last night was a huge step towards securing the wild card. Next up for them, the Chiefs themselves!

Great if you're in the construction business. These bullshit abstract phrases like "Opportunity Society" (opportunity for whom?) and "Abundance" (again, for whom?) don't ring the bell.

I'm a Pats fan and I can't stand Brady anymore. Part of the "Patriot Way" was a weak division and a strong defense. The Raiders are in a very strong division and their defense is horrible. No "culture building" magic can fix that.
