Definitely read the full list of warnings on the AO3 post before going near the actual fic, I suppose is the takeaway. But also I'm very proud of both the writing and the art I've done for it. 😤 Love all these spooky eldritch little guys.

If you like pale #GamKar, flush #DaveKat, hurt/comfort, Alternia-is-basically-Gotham vigilante nonsense, ensemble fics, and religious horror, this one's for you. If you can't handle that coming with mentions of mental/physical/spiritual/emotional torture...perhaps it's not! Use your best judgment 😌👍

part two: "My Tumblr Followers Know Me Very Well And A Million Of Them Asked For Clowns, Clown Church, Pale #Gamkar, Or A Combination" edition lollll
A collection of digital sketches, selectively colored. One drawing of Gamzee as a small child, hugging his knees in the surf with no paint on his face, smiling up adoringly; there's a large, white hoof on the sand next to him, implying he's looking up at his lusus. Half of the remaining sketches are pale scenes between Gamzee and Karkat; Karkat cleaning deep gashes on Gamzee's back, Gamzee painting Karkat's face in highblood style and blushing deeply, Karkat laughingly cursing about getting paint on his face as Gamzee kisses his cheek, and Gamzee hanging on Karkat and visibly falling asleep, mumbling incoherent affection. The remaining sketches are worldbuilding concepts for the highblood religion. Two patterns for paint to indicate good or bad news about the wearer's quadrants. A comparison of Subjugglators, which are conceptualized as brightly-dressed frontline warriors in clown-inspired paints with loud or violent weapons, versus laughsassins in plain, dark clothes and mime-inspired paint, with stealthy assassination weapons. Two original characters are shown performing ritualized gestures and phrases; one drawing an X across his throat with one thumb, accompanied by the words "If I lie, let me die, and messiahs tear up my ticket", and the other drawing pinched fingers apart as though pulling a knot tight accompanied by "Forgive the ill-speaking of my kin". Both are pictured with padded hands and chitinous claws, which cover the entire last joint of their fingers on the palm, and extend down to the knuckles on the back of the hand. Seadweller fingers are noted to be much more spindly, with webbing between each finger. Seadweller fangs are drawn as even and sawtoothed, while landwellers have large eyeteeth and smaller fangs in between. Eridan is pictured with broad, oval pupils, while a side note shows Feferi's eyes with W-shaped cuttlefish pupils.

I honestly don't care much about posting at certain times, I just go through drastic spikes and drops of my executive function RE: posting or reblogging/reposting things, and I like being able to queue those up to just post like, one a day. So, not something I intend to pay money for no, haha.
