In Home Alone 1990 when Kevin crashes down on the shelves you can see MAD Magazine Card Game 1979 one of my very favorites I own two copies, been playing it since grade school.

That’s some gorgeous Mort Drucker artwork! I believe this is a sequel to the popular “JFK Coloring Book” he made with Paul Laikin in the early 1960s. What an amazing bit of cultural ephemera!

For me, part of the appeal of magazines is their tactile tangibility. I love the physicality of casually leafing through one, especially if it's from decades ago. It's a feeling the digital world can't recreate, and I don't think I'd have much interest in MAD beyond the printed page.

This is a very good point. When social media provides an endless stream of free comedy, people are less willing than ever to pay for jokes, regardless of their quality.
