Here's da background and framer layer in isolation, I think they turned out really nicely. The background is meant to depict the Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl volcanoes though the result was rather messy lol

Quetzaleztli (blood of precious feathers), an Aztec (Mexica) warrior who is an anthropomorphic brown bird (everyone keeps naming him different species). He wears little but his maxtlatl (loincloth) and ichcahuipilli (cotton shirt armor).
