This is decidedly not true. Yes most are gentle, but some aren’t. I got bit in the face by an aggressive dog and needed stitches. And I still like dogs! A lot!I know what I experienced isn’t common, but it happens. Owners have full responsibility to keep their dogs under control in public.

I was taking a walk when it happened, and this is what I got home to. Cop had to check my ID before escorting me past the crime tape and to my door @universalhub.com #bostonnews
