Pretty incredible work being done at La Selva. Longitudinal studies, local partnership, education, conservation, and sustainability. Inspirational as a model for healthy ecosystems and a science-centered design. While this is from the primary rainforest part of the reserve, many of the trees are secondary growth forest and help provide insight into the recovery of habitat after human disturbance and deforestation.
