and the original piece itself having flowers, made me want to change them into forget-me-nots.

forget-me-nots are a symbol for the whole plot of my story (as well as their own meaning) as aiko loses her memory for a while. 3/

aiko loses her right eye (in the shibuya incident, id like to believe), that's my main reason for wanting to draw inspiration from this specific artwork. 2/
