Hi everybody!

It's update time - with a thread and a new grid.
Glad to meet you! 🦋
I'm Henrik, living in #Austria - and wildlife and the small world occupies most of my #photography. #Bokeh plays a big role in many of my photos.
Other main genres are landscape and ICM/double exposures.

A 3x3 grid of example photos - with a profile photo on the middle. Subjects span from wildlife, butterflies, wildflowers, fungi, landscapes and experimental photography.

Deep in the arid lands of northern Namibia, a miraculous artery of water traces the western and central border to Angola, and graces one of our planet's most beautiful waterfalls in a desert environment.

~ Sunrise View ~

I'm still wondering if it's a common blue [Polyommatus icarus] or a Chapman's blue [Polyommatus thersites], but I'm tending to the first one.

A photo of (very likely )common blue butterfly - still roosting on a burnet in front of the rising sun. Through using a long macro lens and open aperture the sun appears as a big orange disc behind the butterfly. The tones in the photo range from violet to orange - on this hazy early morning.

~ Start of a Day ~

A Marbled White [Melanargia galathea] starting for its first flight of the day.

Such movies usually don't get much love, but perhaps it sends some love to you 😊.
