I love lavender! I have a lavender spray from a company in England that's unfortunately closed, but I bought extra. It's so nice to spray on a pillow - such a soothing smell. I knew a lady who grew lavender and made those little bags. She gave me a pile of them. I still have them in my clothes.

Thanksgiving was ok. We planned to go out - maybe I mentioned. the Asian restaurant was closed. Usually they ignore our holidays!
I cooked the usual stuff. I'm not a good cook & don't enjoy it. I'm going to retire from holiday cooking next year! I'll bet no one will give me a retirement party!

Sorry about the zombie mode! I have chronic pain & so does hubby. Luckily my meds don't knock me out & work well enough....it's like alcohol. I'm difficult to medicate....I'm just plain difficult!
Hubby is a nicer person! more susceptible to the effects of his pain meds so he's sometimes zonked.

wow that's a good idea. I'll look around for a coconut. I haven't seen any sold anywhere for a while. Hubby had an appt in another town tomorrow. The town has an Aldi and we plan to go. Maybe they'll have one.

to get me drunk so I'd be more cooperative if you get what I mean, but I've never been cooperative in my life and I'd drink them under the table....the good old days. I can't drink anymore since I have to take meds for all my delicate conditions!!! 😡

our state has a taxaholic GQP legislature, well they don't tax rich people - not sure where the tax money goes. Many of our roads are also in need of repair!

Generally speaking, I don't agree with the abuse defense. Lots of people endure abuse and trauma and they don't turn into monsters

We lived in Greensboro years ago. We liked it-it was friendly with good services. If we're close by we still go 2 Stamey's. Had we stayed, development would've encroached to the edge of our back yard where there used 2 b a swath of trees. We had a Bluebird house -a pair nested there every year.
