She/her. Writer (non-practicing). Increasingly elusive on social media. If you say my name three times into a mirror, I'll appear and steal your coffee. ☕️
I did! They told me for security reasons I had to confirm with the old email address. I don't see how it's very secure to leave a hacked address associated with an account, but hey, what do I know... 😒

"In control" (or not) is a good way to describe it. Which I think is why it's so noticeable and jarring when it happens in pro fic and it's clear that it's not a conscious stylistic choice but the writer is just fumbling to pack as much character thoughts in as they can any way they can.

Which can also work well as a deliberate stylistic choice, but I've also read a few published novels (and countless fics) that have done is very badly.

I haven't ever heard third person omniscient described as "head hopping". Head hopping is more like when there's two paragraphs from character A's third person limited POV, then the next paragraph is B's third person limited POV, then back to A (or C) etc.

I was a little underwhelmed by the show in London tbh. Maybe because I expected a proper musical and it was more like a rock concert with the flimsiest excuse of a plot holding it together. Some great songs & performances, but where musical theatre goes, I prefer a bit more in terms of storytelling.

For someone struggling with attention span, 30 minute episodes are perfect! 😅

I like it from a high fashion point of view, but it doesn't do as much for me personally as the more casual one upthread. 😅

I have many thoughts about the second photo. None of them are fit for a public audience. 👀

This is amazing! I've loved your work on Tumblr for a long time, and already went crazy over the "no armor in bed" scene and it's amazing seeing you do actual on-page Sladick! 💙🖤🧡
