Just finished Primitive War — what a ride! Luke Sparke has made a very entertaining SF!horror movie in the vein of Aliens and Predator. He’s a guy to watch out for. VFX were solid and the acting top notch. A satisfying movie. #primitive_war

So, I watched The Plague of the Zombies today. The plot; Squire of small town practices voodoo tro turn local men into zombies to use as a pliable workforce, and to attract beautiful women who would never respond to him otherwise. Sort of like living in the U.S. right now. #lifeundertrump

Iwatched Joe Dante’s Burying The Ex yesterday. It was good. Funny seeing a Dante movie without Robert Picardo. It did have Dick Miller who I didn’t expect. With a little less cussing this would’ve been an easy PG-13. Then my wife would watch. Oh well.

Yeah, that Hypnotic Eye movie was quite messed up. Caught it on TV by accident when I was 9 or 10. I saw it later when I was older and it wasn’t quite as scary (I’d just seen Dawn of the Dead) but it did affect me at the time.

Today's movie is Night of Dark Shadows starring Lara Parker , David Selby, Kate Jackson, and the rest of the Collinwood gang. The sequel to House of Dark Shadows. I've never seen this film and it's a pretty rare duck but, I did find it on DVD for a decent price.

So, I started my Halloween movie marathon on the first with James Whale's Frankenstein and then Tod Browning's Dracula on the second. I've gone ahead and skipped straight to Erle C. Kenton's Ghost of Frankenstein as I had never seen it. Today, Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman. #halloween_marathon
