Incredible overlap with the Dems who votes to censure socialism.

Of the 59 who voted for this, 48 also voted to condemn socialism (of 86 Dems total).

It's no secret these ghouls would rather have "the Big Tent" of the Dem Party expand to include all Republicans before they'll extend a rain-cover to the progressive wing of their own party.

You know how everything is disinformation so people look at betting markets as an indicator?

Let's make it even more profitable to manipulate people's opinions!
December 4, 2025 at 2:36 AM
True. But it's also an ecosystem. Fansubs and sourcing waned as (relatively) high quality content could be found with a (relatively) low barrier to entry.

In 2025 we have a much stronger crowdsource infrastructure that could make these projects far more feasible than they were 10-15 years ago

I've since seen more than one person I trust take a good look at how the books are written and argue that the editors had more than a light touch on the books and explain a lot of why the books are/have done so well.

And why her subsequent attempts only exist as parasites on her previous success

Let it die.
Gates' little munchkin helper
Zuck's annoying data goblin
Page & Brin's glitching internet oracle
Musk's frankensteined little nazi machine

They can all starve to death and fertilize the better world to come.

I think it's time for the Millennials to rise from their crypts to kill yet another company/industry.
November 30, 2025 at 7:29 AM
Both things can be true.
The same way a small hobby boat, larger sailboat and ocean cruise liner capsizing and sinking at sea can all be sad tragedies while recognizing that there is a difference of scale to them.

I can see anime fandom shrinking as a response because
1. Low-effort viewers will assume AIdubs suck ass or the material sucks and not engage
2. High-effort viewers will pirate for fansubs/dubs that are better, even if slower

What would a collaboration between him and Guillermo Del Toro look like and why is it already based?
November 30, 2025 at 3:45 AM
In theory, yes.
In practice, just raise the price by 30%+ 30-60 days in advance and lower it back to this price on Thanksgiving day.

Very, "be grateful for the crumbs we give you" in its seasonality.

I don't really have high expectations when I watched the media cave to his demands, fawn over what little access they were given from the first admin, then ignore the Genocide in Gaza.

After all that, what's some more sexism?

Wow, this shifts him from a neutral-positive to "Useful but not load-bearing" for me.

Anyone who is eager to widen the tent to the right when the party has had knives out for the left is fundamentally untrustworthy to me.

When he dies from Democratic Politics and passes on into Republican Arms, is he hoping that things like this will make them remember him fondly as they accept him into their GOParadise?

I don't know if she is. If the Epstein Files are proving anything, it's that powerful people will often have large networks in places of power to cover for and protect them.

But just as Virginia Giuffre was the most prominent, but not the only accuser, so too Tara Reade was not the only accuser.

But I bet he kicked up his feet and giggled when reading that one letter ripping into Trump written from the UK.

Dude's a twat and his opinion can be ignored.

Republicans being undateable as a lament goes back to Trump's first term in DC.

It's been a little bit of a boon to have such an easy litmus test to immediately nope out of a whole constellation of red flags so simply and quickly.

Any time anyone, on any side, at any point, falls back to the defense of, "It's not illegal", it is an instant admission to me that they suck, and were only prevented from doing worse by the presence of a law.

Perhaps in 4 years, on the eve of retirement age, she will reluctantly admit that what Israel's actions in Palestine were "indeed, a genocide" and look towards the crowd, fully expecting applause

She's really moving from Biden one pixel at a time, and checking to see if that's enough, every time.
November 13, 2025 at 8:32 AM
I've been aware of Summer Lee since I'd seen her name on any letters supporting Palestine from the beginning, but I've only seen her face recently and now she's in way more media stuff.

She's doing great!
November 13, 2025 at 8:09 AM
Cool, then release all of them.
Bills Clinton and Gates? Jail 'em.

I don't think I've seen a single Democrat leftward pre-emtively defend any hypothetical person on the list. Universally I've seen any attempt at naming a so-called left darling be immediately met with.

"Jail them too"
