The Chain is pretty much the only later era tune I really dig. The kinda warbley Stevie Nicks voice bugs me too. She did a duet with Tom Petty on Stop Dragging My Heart Around that got popular but there's a demo version by the Heartbreakers without her that I like so much more

I love me some Peter Green era Mac. I think that's why I can't get down with much of the Stevie Nicks era stuff, its basically erased the earlier incarnation in public consciousness, along with Santana's near note for note Black Magic Woman cover. The heavy, 3 lead guitar blues stuff is so good

Eh, I'm not ready to write them off. They play KC Thursday and at Detroit next week, neither of whom looks like world beaters. If they somehow win both, they get Minnesota and the chargers in Dallas and close with Washington and the Giants. It's a stretch but they could win out

Counting tonight so far, he's got 290 touches on the year and its week 12. On pace for well over 400 before the playoffs
November 25, 2025 at 3:10 AM
He looks like he's lost 20 mph on his fastball. He throws another soft toss looking bad pick that gets jumped by a corner, I'd pull him for Mac. They can't afford a loss
November 25, 2025 at 2:48 AM
Purdy has no zip on his passes. Kyle said he's putting the ball where its supposed to be but its taking so long to get there, defenders jump them. His footwork's shaky too. Wonder is the turf toe not letting him plant and get some torque into it? He's never had a cannon but this looks like soft toss

Another team that paid star money to a QB before they had to.
November 25, 2025 at 2:17 AM
With bears missing all their starting linebackers and rolling out 3 guys who had 3 career tackles between them. That is malpractice on an epic scale, backup QB or not. Any remotely competent staff woulda made attacking the middle of the field the primary game plan and they didn't even bother to try
November 25, 2025 at 12:08 AM
Honestly it was just the 1st quarter. They went up 21 with almost 12 minutes left in the 2nd. They went scoreless for basically 3 quarters
November 24, 2025 at 4:45 AM
Both.

The bucs team ravaged by injuries who's defense has completely collapsed? That's another team with a coach who isn't good. So's Philly, to be honest, they're just so loaded they win a lot of games in spite of the coach. I do like the Rams though. They might be the best overall team in the league
November 24, 2025 at 4:30 AM
That's what I'm saying. I watched most of that Rams game wondering when or if he was ever going to make an adjustment. By the end, I was wondering if he tanked Darnold on purpose as an excuse to move on. I came out of those games thinking that dude is a fraud more than Darnold is bad
November 24, 2025 at 4:21 AM
I didn't understand why he escaped blame for their last 2 games last year. Sure, Darnold was bad but he did nothing to help him, just basically threw him to the wolves, kept calling the same plays they clearly couldn't block for. He's kinda doing it with JJ too, running stuff he plainly can't do
November 24, 2025 at 4:12 AM
I'm not a Kellen Moore fan but he was orders of magnitude more competent than whatever they've got going on this year. Whoever it is has to scheme up dudes wide ass open because hurts either won't throw or won't throw anything catchable. He's so risk averse and its really hurting their offense
November 24, 2025 at 4:07 AM
Not as badly as he would have if he'd caught it. The dude that scored would have crushed him
November 23, 2025 at 5:37 AM
Probably good for the kicker that he bobbled that cause he gonna get destroyed by that dude coming around the edge
November 23, 2025 at 5:34 AM
Problem is you're basically stuck with a team for 5 years+. He wanted out but SF wasn't going to trade him so his only option was to sign an extension. Not defending him, this is bush league crap on his part, but teams get way too much control over players, especially on rookie deals
November 23, 2025 at 2:25 AM
Aiyuk didn't wanna be there but because of the way the league is structured, he had no choice, the team potentially controlled him for years. They need to cap rookie deals at 3 years and ditch the franchise tags. He's reportedly not even fighting canceling the guarantees
November 23, 2025 at 2:21 AM
I'm not convinced she actually lost. But at the same time, her advisors that shut down walz and pushed the tack right crap should never work in politics again. She had real momentum and they basically set that on fire for an outdated 90s era strategy that only arguably ever worked to begin with

Only with approval of the state governor. If the guard is federalized and operating outside that authority, they fall under posse commitus same as regular military. Short of using insurrection act, the federalized guard is explicitly prohibited from domestic law enforcement
November 22, 2025 at 11:55 PM
That basically makes the point doesn't it? If you're producing winning records and even won a title with guys like Kelly and Pederson, its clearly not the head coach. Those guys have both been proven Atrocious.
November 22, 2025 at 4:53 PM
I'm just saying its the roster and organization, not him. Certainly Seifert had a head start. If Howie doesn't stack that roster as quickly as he did, sirianni is already out of work. As good as they've been, it just seems like they go as far as the assistants take them coaching wise.
November 22, 2025 at 1:30 AM
3 of those wins were from teams not being able to get game winning kicks off at the end thru sheer incompetence. They were a 10-7 team at best who prob shoulda lost both playoff games before they got stomped in the superbowl
November 21, 2025 at 6:53 PM
I mean, the refs took 7 points off the board for Denver and later bailed them out with a 47 yard PI call on a 3rd and 19 on the drive where they took the lead. They're just not good enough to take advantage of the favorable whistle anymore.
November 21, 2025 at 6:50 PM
Dominantly? You talking about last year where they won several games because the other team did absurdly stupid stuff at the end? The entire narrative of last year was KC is really a 9 or 10 win team with a massive horseshoe up its ass. This year is the same only sans horseshoe
