ICE & Border Patrol mess up the judicial process. When they deport people, that includes all types of people. Criminals avoiding punishment, victims of crimes that now cannot press charges against the criminals we are stuck with, witnesses that would help catch & prosecute criminals here, etc.

Assuming 1 is code for using firearms, people should only do this if they are alone in the house (no one else to get hurt by accident) and prepared to die by the returning fire from ICE goons.

If you go back far enough, SB county used to include a lot more area. Also, I believe SB Island is physically closer to LA county than SB county. So, it makes sense that at one point it was in LA county. But I am not a geographer nor historian, so don't quote me on that.

Of course, even without all of that, they were in the wrong. It just adds to the level of anger it brings that they were not prosecuted for so long.

Great reporting. It is so frustrating that three men who had all committed crimes (domestic violence, DUI, brandishing a gun, etc) worse than $12 theft thought it was at all ok to take it upon themselves to exact their idea of justice this kid. Especially since the theft was already prevented!
