I am 81 and I welcome young candidates for office. I want to scream at so many decrepit pols in office. I want progress for my grandchildren/ not regress. I believe there are many many of us elders who feel the same way.

I was heartbroken, but not as shocked as in 2016. Just turned 80 and never thought a day would come when our freedoms and our history would be under attack from within. We should make a National Freedom Quilt (recall the AIDS Quilt of the 80s.) 2026=250th Birthday!
