With age came wisdom but a yearning for the simplistic past.
I find this absolutely disgusting that this information comes out now. Multiple people would have known about it and have kept quiet. The pain caused by to so many could have been avoided. So many cover ups and lies. Yet not one person has been held accountable.

I’m not entirely against a NI rise if I had the confidence they would not waste and squander the money but this a previous governments have wasted billions over the years. The message needs to change, and if we’re all going to play a part make sure we ALL play our part in a fair way.

We were told we all needed to buckle up in austerity to solve the nations problems. We all suffered while the wealthy worked around tax loopholes, moved vast amounts off shore & came of of it unscathed or richer. Reeves is repeating the same mantra and she’s been giving the super rich the heads up.

What I’m against is being told we all need to play a part (to fix a problem most of us never created) we are currently playing our part rebuilding the water/sewer network, the electricity network, the decarbon green infrastructure. Meanwhile a few seem to be profiteering rather well.

I fear if the UK Gov support the small suppliers TATA will pull the plug and cut losses and the Gov will be left with a parts warehouse. TATA always seem to want someone else to give them large sums of money to stay afloat (Port Talbot) something dodgy going on here me thinks.

The silent infographic at 3:58 which shows UK paying more is rather telling, while Miliband is telling us it’s a cheaper alternative! We’ve felt these price rises for too long now in the UK and it’s about time the people felt the benefit rather than the corporations and share holders.

He’s a narcissistic, sheep in wolves clothing, willing to destroy everything as long as he remains in the news. His selfish desire for fame and notoriety comes first. As an ex-banker he will cut and run without hesitation if the tide turns and he won’t care about the country or the people.

Selling off the rolling stock to multiple franchises for short term leases was never a good idea while the government held on to network rail. It was privatised the wrong way and little thought prior in favour of a government quick sell. Same with water and the energy sector.

Dangerous for democracy. Starmer pushed this through as a sign of power and gained nothing. It’s a sign of weakness if you can’t handle opposing views.

It was an optical lead ( technics separates ) worked well - auto stopped recording when vinyl ended 😀

I still have mine. I copied my vinyl onto them and they captured the crisp vinyl sound. Sony paved the way with quality.

I thought it’s best to negotiate from a strong position. The UK/EU could negotiate a better trade deal and then follow the American dream. This (and last Government) are cutting their nose off to spite the face. It’s a ridiculous methodology.
