It's hump(back) day! This is Freckles breaching near Telegraph Cove, BC. She was being particularly active on this October day - breaching over and over again! Freckles has little white marks on her back which is how she got her name.

This is CA140B Louise with her kid, CA140B2 Bee, in Monterey Bay. Orcas are matriarchal creatures. Depending on population, some kids may stay with mom for life.
