Just back from #SEH2025 in Bonn 🇩🇪 where I presented early work on frog faecal metabarcoding 🐸💩🧬, joined the Herp-Omics Symposium, heard amazing talks 🐍🦎, and met brilliant people I hope to collaborate with in future. Already excited for SEH2027 in Tbilisi 🇬🇪

I had a great time at the UKEOF UKDNA Working Group Conference last week! Presenting some early PhD research at the Royal Society was a fantastic experience, and it was inspiring to hear from leading experts and fellow students alike. 🐸 🧬

Returning to London also gave me the chance to visit ZSL London Zoo and the Institute of Zoology. Collaborating with an organisation I first visited at the age of 2 is incredibly exciting—though unsurprisingly, I don’t remember that first trip!

Great to have been adopted under the Creevey Lab umbrella at QUB, what a wonderful group of people. Lovely Christmas meal and warming mulled wine at Belfast markets.
