As long as you can describe it in writing and study the wiki, you can create an absurd amount of stuff. It's so underrated in how accessible it is and I would like more people to become aware of that. If you decide to participate, then have fun!

If you're at all interested then I promise you, dwarf fortress modding is easier than you think! Obviously the new lua stuff and the graphics have added a new layer of complexity, but you don't need either of those to make something cool.

I don't really know the review-to-time math to determine if what I'm saying is true but this game feels insanely underrated. I'm having a great time with it. Smooth gameplay and a drip-fed story that is delivered comprehensibly. Also the art is really good.

First bugfix for the Long Night is out, and honestly its not as bad as I expected. Still more to come ofc but this feels like a decently stable point. I may be speaking to early of course but still! Promising.

Incredibly good immersive sim with fun characters, cool missions, and insane builds. You can hack the entire map with real coding logic or bullet time your way through it or swarm the place with an army of psychic clones. Needs more attention.

It doesn't need to be something high-end, I'm happy spitting out prose if that's what you need. I've got WPM for days and am willing to work with a creative lead to help them realize their vision over trying to do my own thing.

I also really have no idea how to go about asking this, but I'm in the market for any writing job, particularly for videogames, tabletop RPGs, or anything else in that area. I hope my work here serves as an example of the creativity and effort I can bring to the table.

In addition, the new ranged update has allowed for an overhaul of the gun system, allowing for slow-firing heavy cannons and rapid-output rotary rifles to now be things you can shoot and be shot at by.
