same, pretty much. just seems like it devalues the sense of reality in every fantasy that it incorporates. like, if i'm a fan of a franchise, i don't want to see its integrity compromised like that!

i'm really glad you liked it! FFT is one of my two favorite games ever and i think it aged so well. not just cause it's really fun (although it is!), but because the story & its politics are so thoughtful. hard to believe it came out almost 30 years ago; it all still feels so relevant today!

congrats!! and yknow, it deserves all that and then some. slarpg was such a special game, the kind that made me cry uncontrollably at the end. even though it hit me extra hard right after i realized i was trans, i still recommend it to everyone i know, cause it's healing no matter who you are.
