I went down in the short family infamy list when I took my mum to see the movie Trainspotting. Guy from Hamish Macbeth show was in it & clueless us thought the movie was a similar genre. Didn't take long to realise how wrong I was. 🤣

The Covid is mild this time, 22nd time in 16 months & 23rd time in total. The headache & some balance issues are the worst symptoms. At times post Covid is worse than the infection stage. Australia goes through waves of it, my town is a hotspot for months every year in winter to summer.

Involved in training the shadow guy with metal umbrella type weapons. There's a very passionate kiss scene. The grayscale colouring confused me at first, I have Covid again & thought it was affecting my eyes. 😂

I've had that with a couple of older Kdramas that were popular at their time but I couldn't make it to the end of episode 1. I restarted You're Beautiful last week after 3 attempts over a few years, I got past ep 1 finally & have made it to ep 5 & plan to continue. 😂

I dropped Sword & Brocade last year sometime. Not a fan of the FL actress, haven't finished any of her shows I've started. ML character bored me. I liked The Double, some others are on my always growing watchlist on Viki or iqyi. 🫣

I finished Minglan a few weeks ago, but it took a couple of weeks to get past episode 69, all the 💩 thrown at her was relentless. Breezed through 70 to 73 in one afternoon. 😂 It's a real history lesson on women in China & that's the main reason I preserved.

I've started Nothing Gold Can Stay on Prime, based on a true story. It's also a long one with a strong female lead. I found Goodbye My Princess on Viki last night my time (Australia) & it has good reviews.

I'm probably a little over 1/3 through Phoenixes, mid 20s I think. I'm glad I saw Minglan ML in that before seeing Married. He played toxic controlling spouse so well, I lost count of the number of times I swore at the tv. 😂

I'll have to check that one out. Thanks for the tip. Rise of Phoenixes was the first I started, slowly getting through it. Minglan was the first finished, the amount of shit she had to deal with. 😲 I keep expanding my watchlists. 🤭
