Hi! I'm Kats. I'm a simmer who mainly plays The Sims 4, but occasionally The Sims 1. I tell stories, take scenery screenshots, make videos, create mods, and build.

This is my thread of threads 🧶

In Original Ahriman's house. Ahriman Transportalates in a red light. She's wearing a white suit and black Oxford heels. The cat Mayor Whiskers sits next to her and looks at her.

Beren works on something at a robotics workstation in Bot Savants' room in Foxbury Commons. He's wearing a red T-shirt and jeans overalls with the bib down.

The bots Kodex, Melon, Goldie and Eve are in the Myshuno Meadows park. Eve nervously looks at a pigeon that sits among them.

The red sun gives off an eerie light in The Magic Realm, as it rises between two big and pointy rocks in Casters Alley.

Ahriman would definitely have a turn off for werewolves. Also, fun fact, Melon would've had a turn off for servos.

Beren and Ahriman would obviously (since they've both said it in the story) have a turn on for beards.

I wish there were turn ons and turn offs for occults. Including servos, ghosts, plantsims and skeletons.

Also facial hair, body hair, bald, they should be options in the hair category for turn ons and turn offs, instead of there only being hair colours.

Plupp is just such a versatile word 😌 Sound effect for something falling small into water? Plupp. A board game meeple? Plupp. A small item that came with your IKEA furniture and you don't know the name of? Plupp.

Summer: I feel unusually appreciative of the dishwasher today. I just really love to have a dishwasher.

After Liberty and Travis have left for uni, Summer is taking care of the dishes, by putting them in the dishwasher that didn't exist yesterday.

Liberty: Next time a time traveller asks me for help, I'll tell them that they'll have to come back when the term is over. Or before the term even started. Watcher, I'm so stressed, please send help.

Liberty: Maybe if I substitute the 1 for sine squared x plus cosine squared x. Will that make this easier or more complicated? I wish I could just go knock on George's door and ask him.

It's early morning in Liberty, Travis and Summer's house. Liberty is wearing sleepwear and is studying at the kitchen table, which is bigger than what it used to be and stands in the middle of the kitchen, as opposed to next to the window, where it used to be. There are a few more things that are different. Behind Liberty is the living room, where they have two yellow sofas, instead of one green sofa, there's a fireplace below the wall TV, the curtains are white instead of brown with vine pattern, there are some bookshelves that didn't use to be there, and the coffee table is bigger and rectangular instead of round.

Did they change this arm hair from HSY? I don't remember it going above the elbow and below the wrist. I also remember it being more straight.

Arm hair on a female sim in The Sims 4. The arm hair goes from slightly above the elbow to slightly below the wrist, and it's somewhat curly.

Or, if your computer isn't too old for it or you have money to buy a new computer and enjoy bloatware, you can start to use Windows 11.

But please beware, W11 will push OneDrive on you. DON'T SAVE YOUR SIMS FILES IN THE CLOUD. Unless you want to go on the highway to corruption that is.

If you're on Windows 10, I recommend that you switch to Linux, for example Ubuntu.

Not all of your programs will work on Linux, but there are workarounds for many programs.

And simmers, yes, you can play Sims on Linux! Either directly through Steam or through EA app via Lutris

On the 14th of October, one week from now, Windows 10 will no longer be supported and won't get any more security updates.

Windows 11 is not backwards compatible. Hundreds of millions of people have computers that are too old for it.

Not to mention that it's just not a good OS over all.
