I was waiting for my wife to meet me when this little Ruby-Crowned Kinglet caught my eye. You can even just barely see his ruby crown! 🪶

Went fishing with my son and a couple of friends yesterday. The best photo opportunity was the Black Crowned Night Heron that flew low over the water right in front of us (that I missed entirely, of course) but this Mississippi Kite getting bullied by a Western Kingbird was a fun consolation 🪶
