In honor of my impatience for GO3, here’s something I wrote back in… 9/2024🤯
I found it at the bottom of my wips pile, and fixed it up a bit. It’s not polished or anything, but I’m surprised by the outcome.

So, without further ado:

Azi is trembling, but stays locked in place, unable to move from where he’s grounded. Azi speaks, his lips quiver violently. He doesn’t look Crowley in the eye. Even with those ever persistent dark glasses, he can’t look him. Azi grips his hands as his throat tightens and his gaze drops to the ground. Tears swell and fall from his eyes.” “Crowley is now moving towards Azi. He takes several strides to reach him. Standing before him. He reaches for the angels hands. Azi, still looking down, slowly loosens his grip, as Crowley brushes his fingers against his own. The demon stills his hands, left open and waiting. Azi places his hands into Crowley’s. Crowley holds on firmly. He lifts Azi’s hands, presses a kiss to each, and holds them close to his chest. Azi is looking up at him. Crowley keeps his gaze lowered.” “Azi gently pulls his hands away and brings them to the sides of Crowley’s face and removes his glasses. Azi presses a kiss to the crease between his eyebrows. Crowley drops his head onto Azi’s shoulder and wraps his arms around him. Azi does the same. All their weight falls into each other’s arms. They hold on for dear life. Both are crying, both are shaking. Both are home.” 🩷
