When will the defense return to elite form? Immediately. Dotson and Roldan will stay home more. Attacks will have to filter through fullbacks first, then the center backs. Sounders will be a top 3 defense again.

Can Sounders play through the middle w/o Obed? Only if Jesus is the 10. He’s the only player smart enough to play in that spot when it’s tight.

How does Thomas keep the starting job? Play short to Ragen.

Will Schmetzer return to a more conservative attack? He has no choice if he is going to start Morris up top in a 4-2-3-1. I’d love for him to try some two striker formations, but it will most likely be a novelty sort of thing.

Who will be he Sounders danger man? This will be split between Rusnak & Ferreira w/ Schmetzer eventually seeing more positive results with Jesus at the 10. It takes Brian at least a year to adjust to personnel.

An entire soccer playing nation has made him captain. Yet Sounders couch bloggers look up from their excel workbooks and demand his transfer.

Morris’s play style is causing a lot of unsupported direct balls. It will take time to adjust. Most of the offense over the last few months came from Ferreira dropping in and playmaking. Sounders need to do both things. More practice, I guess. However, it seems a little late in the year.
