I dont post on bsky much but scenario writer kyohei oyama has been writing AU tidbits for the new merch releases and the butler one is so cute I simply had to TL it

Since Maruko acts professionally during his working hours, in a scenario where they're butlers in an aristocratic manor, I think he wouldn't be the type to snack on the job. In fact, he'd probably keep an eye on Ima and Kako, who habitually sneak away food to snack on. He'd yell "What are you guys doing, stuffing your mouths!? Spit that out! SPIT! IT! OUT!" and chase them both around the kitchen. But no matter how many times he tells them off, the twins' snacking habits don't change, so he starts trying to find compromises. "... Okay fine, I get it. You can eat the parsley garnish. I'll even allow a single potato. But absolutely NO touching any of the meat or foie gras...!" During work hours, Maruko is a managerial fiend, but after he's done, he takes all of the food close to expiry, puts it in a huge pack, and hands it off to the twins with a "...Here, throw this away" before leaving the mansion. Then I think he'd buy a ton of food at a cheap shop in town, before returning to the group home where his family is waiting for him.
