Though I'm sure there's a YT video out there somewhere that does a better job than me but I personally haven't watched any because I don't want to be subconsciously influenced by any videos.

Check out my most recent post, I made a family tree (mostly what my head cannon is tbh) - To me, Mario and Jumpman MIGHT be different people... I'll have to do a timeline of all the DK and Mario games 😭
