Thanks to yogipohaku posting at Dailykos, I'm reminded that buildings as old as the East Wing were usually built with asbestos. We need to find out what mitigation (as required by law) is being practiced during the destruction. My guess? None at all, and the contamination will be severe.

So, some teenager gets mugged in DC and Trump sends in the National Guard and FBI, while when a school or the CDC gets shot up, all he sends are thoughts and prayers. Seems odd and rather ineffective.

My wife is doing taxes and tells me that our IRS account has no data available on it. I haven't done them in years, but recall that the previous year's return has information needed for the current one. Seems like more than a slight inconvenience. Is this happening elsewhere?
