Refugee from Twitter. Anti Brexit/Trump/Russia very woke and 😠. Just an Englishmen in Galicia.
Very different world now. Does the UK want to join an EU where the far right uses the constitution to undermine members benefiting EU enemies ? if I was Starmer I'd be chatting to Musk,Mertz etc about a successor entity to the EU. Time is nigh.

TBF though this was an inevitable consequence of Brexit. Leave club of affluent countries who protect living standards and wealth to go and mix it with fast growing but poorly paid countries.

A bigger threat is his connection to Trump. Doubt many voters happy with his betrayal of Ukraine and dismissal of Europe. Farage/Badenoch/Starmer all have shit on the ends of their noses ....public long wait away

They changed their school day by an hour to try and avoid us, then hired security guards to march them home. Police were perplexed and kept finding DC pupils passed out on the pavement. Kid in my year was whacking them with a snooker ball in a stocking.

Oh M8 I went to Kingsdale comp literally next to the college, 2500 of South London's finest. He blocked me when I reminisced about the beatings. Trust me couldn't have been next to a more hostile school.

Somehow doubt it. I went to Kingsdale comp next door. College changed their school hours to try and evade the beatings they then hired security guards to escort them. Was brutal in the 80s.

I know it's a secondary point but.....if you have had your leg amputated logic suggests a sprained ankle will hurt more than a missing leg 🤔

Think in fairness they got it when Trump was elected. Whole operation been holding pattern to adapt.

I remember watching at my nans as a small child. Think main reason they were black and white was to match the contrast on a black and white TV. To try and conflate with making hissing sounds to Jewish kids fucking sick.

Totally take a leaf out of Amazon's book. Build infrastructure run at a loss, make profits when dominant. The LP feels in hock to lobbyists for fossil fuel. No wonder the Greens are mowing their lawn.

Such a ridiculous epoca we live in. Imagine if politicians were loud and proud of their environmental policies and shouted about their progress. Like we did 40 years ago with water quality in the Thames 🤬 or closing the ozone hole. But hey ho corruption.
November 6, 2025 at 10:19 AM
That is bollox. LP wasting billions in carbon capture, giving new subsidies to Drax to destroy foreign native forests, new gas/oil licenses blah blah...only reason Starmer in Brazil to greenwash as even he realises Greens gaining on back of his Reform first policies.

Having worked on a bond desk for 30 years, I'm fully aware of market movements. A economically illiterate SWP reject spouting nonsense on a daily basis however ....

The paradox of Norway is they are financially rich whilst the "wealth" they have accumulated is destroying the Artic paradise they inhabit . It's not a triumph but a tragedy, and one they do share with Auz.

Trouble is like Sadiq Khan, your ability to change the narrative as a mayor extremely limited, but the press will blame u for any calamity that befalls the city. Let's hope New Yorkers like Londoners see through Murdochs shit.
