i thought i should (re)introduce myself. hi! i'm jesslyn. i'm a toy designer & collector, australian volunteer wildlife rescuer, and crazy bunny lady.

i have spent hours tweaking wifi config settings to diagnose an issue where sometimes a page will just sit blank and not load

i bought a router for 59% off from the amazon sales and now im getting my full 500mbit internet speed over wifi instead of being bottlenecked around 100

our best theory is the delivery driver delivered and photographed the wrong item, actually realized that mistake, picked it back up, and in an uncharacteristic display of going the extra mile, returned a few hours later to deliver the correct one?

so it turns out the parcel was not stolen but we have a bigger mystery -

* a parcel is delivered and photographed
* i check the door and there is nothing there. assume stolen
* later there is a completely different parcel there, correctly addressed, containing the printer bar

and then the second delivery of the day was stolen from the doorstep. it was an LED bar for my 3d printer.

a small stupid part of me is hoping they'll put it back when they discover how useless it is to them

if you are a woman or have a woman in your life you will know the rarity and triumph of finding the perfect pair of pants that also HAVE POCKETS

thanks to my weight loss they are now too big and i can no longer use the pockets because even just having my phone in there makes them fall down

the babies are fully grown and would've been kicked out to go live their swan lives by now if she were still here. it's nesting season

the reason i had that disaster with the caulking gun glue is because apparently it was the best for being waterproof and mounting things like plaques to concrete

blokees! and oh no no i was upset when they just changed the thigh parts a few waves ago because i wanted consistency among the series and now they have even newer, better thighs, new hips, new joints, a new neck, a new torso.. they're so much better!

and most irritatingly, the shin cover pieces do not fold around her leg completely or tab in at all, leaving them off center

this is a design that would have worked in CAD but needed more passes on tolerance before being produced with better materials
