And like, in the modern legal world the people who write contracts and the ones who go to court to enforce them are different lawyers. The one has an incentive to save you money from having to pay the other. (So you'll come to them the next time)

Eh, "run away" might be more intense than is needed but the original person saying "and this rule makes me feel uncomfortable in the game" bears repeating that we don't have to play at every table or in every game.

The GM doesn't have to be horrible to not be a good fit.

Yeah, Great Britain had two places where a railing separated "Barristers" from "everyone else" and one of the two gives the name. And then it got imported to the US.

(The other being the Inns of Court, which are more like a cross of a University and a Guild than the pubs mentioned above)
