lookin back on this a year later.... i feel like compared to what i'm doing now, some of the most important changes i've made are A: better character design skills, B: making better use of lighting to define characters' silhouettes, and C: a wider range of colors so it doesn't feel as compressed

ough. i GOTTA figure out how to make embroidered patches in 3D without spending like 3 hours drawing all the stitches by hand. at the very least i need to find an easy, if not automatic, way to draw the stitches. i wanna put so many of those things on Scales' jacket it's not even funny

yknow. i think i probably won't be doing a big project like this again next year, this was kind of a bad idea. biting off way more than i can chew during the busiest time of the year for me while i'm still very much learning how to make character rigs and models was. not the greatest plan </3
