DC has several great theaters for original & touring musicals/plays, like the #ArenaStage. Among the shows I saw there in 2025 were 2 Broadway-aimed tryouts and my faves: The Bedwetter & Damn Yankees. I hope they’ll have the same luck/trajectory as Dear Evan Hansen, which also debuted at Arena.

I went into #IsThisThingOn with skepticism and reservations (not a fan of Will Arnett or Laura Dern) … but its story and that it is a Bradley Cooper-directed film pulled me in … and I left with a deep appreciation for both leads and the movie as a whole. 👏🏽👏🏽

Once again. #HeatedRivalry Ep 6 brought out all the feels! 🥹 The outrageously swanky “cottage” aside, the storylines felt totally authentic & realistic. I’m glad I didn’t bail after the first 2 eps, which IMHO were the weakest and most aimless of the season. #TheCottage #Hollanov

Heard about #GuysAndDolls for years and finally saw it tonight. A magnificent regional prod. at #ShakespeareInDC … with a 26-member cast led by several Broadway “vets”— Julie Benko, Jacob Dickey & Hayley Podschun. Loved the score & choreography in particular. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I don’t often dwell on TV series episodes, but #HeatedRivalry Ep 5 has stuck with me for the last 24hrs+ and had to do a rewatch. Absolutely adore the Rose Landry & hospital visit scenes (so sweet) + the big kiss & “I’m coming to the cottage” closing scenes. So good! 😍

Finally!! It seems #HeatedRivalry has found its footing and some direction and purpose with episode #3. The Scott/Kip storyline feels rooted in reality, while the characters and their struggles/feelings are relatable. And the two actors are ... oof. 🥵 I'm back on the HR Fan Express. 😍
