I had a stroke of good luck yesterday, I found out that I've been excused from jury duty for next week. Since I was on a roll, I bought a Powerball ticket. Fingers crossed that I win something.

FYI, Blueskyers, if you follow me and your profile mentions, god, your faith, or features bible verses, I won't be following you back. I'm a militant atheist, appalled by all the harm religion has caused in the world.

One of the best descriptions of Trump ever written. Sickening but true.

Not that anybody asked, but the recent passing of architect Frank Gehry reminded me of how much I dislike his buildings. They just seem messy. No elegance, no refinement. I prefer Art Deco, the Bauhaus and Frank Lloyd Wright. I'm not posting this to start an argument, it's simply my opinion.

And just for fun, here's a picture of me with a mini horse (not mine). I just love these critters. They're so cute.

It was just about a year ago, right before Christmas, that I lost my dog, Smedley. He was independent, sometimes willful, but I sure loved him. He was one of the most unique dogs I've ever met and I miss him still.

Hi, friends, just to spread a little holiday cheer, here's a suggestion for family viewing over the holidays: the 1951 film Scrooge, starring the immortal Alistair Sim, in my opinion the greatest Ebenezer Scrooge of all time. It's easy to find online and is highly entertaining. Enjoy!

This last boat strike ordered by Trump and Hegseth, where a second attack was ordered on survivors is reminiscent of the way Nazi U-Boats would surface to machinegun the survivors after torpedoing cargo ships and transports.

Try to avoid spending money on anything tomorrow. Don't go out to eat, don't order anything online. Send a message of resistance to our corporate overlords.

Ah, it's a sad day for the music world. The great Jimmy Cliff has passed over the rainbow bridge. If you're unfamiliar with his work, you owe it to yourself to see his film The Harder They Come, which features one of the greatest soundtracks of all time.
