Ah. Re FSA, maybe this additional info will be helpful to you.
To sum up: use your benefits; donate (cash if you can) to food banks and shelters when you are able.
They only became eligible under the CARES act in 2020. There was a long time when most OTC meds also weren’t eligible and that changed in 2020 as well.

I worked in a place where I had FSA for 15 years. I had no idea menstrual products were covered. Boosting in case this info is helpful to some.
This is your annual reminder that if you are in the US and have FSA funds that you won't use, Menstrual products are covered by FSA funds and can be donated to food pantries and shelters.

Ah yes. That thing where I check Bluesky to determine if that BUMP that alarmed my cat and me was in fact an earthquake (and not a large branch falling on the house or something like that). Yup. #earthquake.

The day carried on with the sky so covered in fog I thought the sun would not appear. It did appear, shining brightly and producing shadows among the trees. #1GoodThing

My wish for you this holiday (or day, if you don’t celebrate): May you find time for yourself, may you remember fondly loved ones lost, may you share joy with loved ones still here, may you let some music lift you higher.

There is a post circulating on Bluesky encouraging the moving of a frozen turkey straight into a pot of hot oil. We are combating this misinformation the best way we know how - through the power of dance music.

My friend saw a show early on in this tour. I can’t believe it is finally my turn to see David Byrne. I hope we can share notes one of these days.

So sad. For months I’ve been looking forward to the X & Los Lobos show at the Oakland Paramount tonight. I just discovered this show, and much of the tour, was cancelled weeks ago. 😢 I hope the musicians and crews are well.
