I hope someday when he is nothing more than a blight on our history these people will be forced to sit and watch videos of them kissing his ass non-stop as they sit bed ridden in their nursing homes. Really make them remember their role in all of this.

As a Gen Xer and former latchkey kid, I can assure you I have zero interest in going back to the 70’s and reliving my childhood.

We are so screwed if they privatize TVA. If people think energy costs are high now, just wait until it’s a privately owned entity. MAGA’s are gonna learn some very hard lessons about their stupidity.

While I don’t condone throwing the admiral under the bus, fact is he could have refused to make the second strike and didn’t. He is also complicit and this is why I now have a strong distrust of our military and whether or not they would attack US citizens if commanded to.

Even though she didn’t win I think we all see what is happening here. Dems have largely ignored rural America which has contributed to the feeling that they are elitists. They need to start holding town halls all across rural America and rebuild that bridge of connection to these people.

People in rural communities often live in conservative bubbles where they are raised in churches that preach you can’t be a Christian and vote for Dems because of abortion. Having actual conversations in person will help dispel that belief for some of them.

Agreed!!! I’m in the rural part of the district Aftyn ran in. Until the last couple weeks her signs in my area were virtually non-existent and it took almost as long to see ads on TV. Dems have to get in these areas in person and let these people get to know them and see that they want to help them.

I feel this on every level. The best thing I did for myself was eliminate FB and X from my life and tightly restricting IG after the last election cycle. My disappointment in people I always believed were better was overwhelming after seeing the toxic views they were spewing daily.

It’s in Project 2025. I tried to warn those that I knew had family in the military that they really needed to look into what was going to happen if they voted for Trump. They either dismissed it or laughed it off like it was all a joke. I don’t like this but I also know a lot of them voted for it.

Agreed!!! As a resident of this gerrymandered district it gives me hope for the midterms. The fact that they sent Mike Johnson here yesterday and pumped millions into supporting Van Epps just for him to eek out a win means they know they are in trouble at the midterms.

I am really disappointed that he won but I have hope now because of how close she came because this district is a rural, red, MAGA filled district which includes military and Van Epps should have won by a landslide thanks to gerrymandering and didn’t.
