No luck with both the Wb diver and shore lark at Dunbar (The shore lark seems to have moved on). Slightly made up for by a Slav grebe at seafield lagoon. Didn't see them myself but another birder told me of Snow bunting at John muir cp.

No sign of the Dunbar White-billed diver today. Both before and after the horrible rain.

Aberlady and Gullane yielded the usual hundreds of Fieldfare, but also a Short-eared owl and a distressed Grey seal I found tangled in a fishing net. Luckily the SPCA came along and hopefully managed to free it.

Musselburgh today

Got some amazing views of 4 Slav grebe (2 seawall, 1 esk mouth, 1 new lagoons) and a kestrel, a far off Gs Woodpecker and Potentially 2 Bt diver so any help with IDing from my grainy photos of them would help! (Would be a lifer if it is)

Had no luck finding the Glaucous Gull at yellowcraig today, but the 13 Snow bunting are still present at Eel Burn.

Musselburgh lagoons. January 31st.

Highlights included a Tree sparrow at levenhall links, a Common guillemot very close to the seawall, an adult Black guillemot very far out to sea, a Mediterranean gull (lifer) and roosting Kittiwake at the Esk mouth.
