I mean the phrasing of the first line makes no sense unless the Mrs. isn't surprised to see a naked fairy, but surprised to see her fixing the drinks and maybe afraid those two might start without her.

Wait! Sorry to answer again, but: Did I just misread a rather obvious code that they had a threesome? I mean, the whole thirst thing, Psyche staying overnight and getting thanked in the morning, I'd say Mr. and Mrs. B. had themselves a little fairy action.

I'd have said it's from flying most of the time and thus not putting any weight on them - if she would ever use these wings for anything but justifying her not putting a top on.

In a weird way her being so unashamedly topless makes the wife's non-reaction more plausible/ less implausible. I mean, they're not trying to cover her up, she just happens to be half nude.
