Hinamatsuri, Girls' Day or Doll’a Day, is an annual festival in Japan celebrated on March 3rd of each year. This is a platform display of ornamental dolls and the Emperor and Empress of the Heian period. My mom always loved and took pride of setting this up in this corner of the house every year.
