The candles of the menorah remind us of the resilience of those who have endured against oppression for generations. May we all continue to find the light amongst the darkness.

We deserve dignity. We deserve safety. We deserve freedom. We have a voice, and together we must speak out for those who can't speak for themselves. Human rights belong to everyone, and we won’t stop fighting until there is justice and equality for all. 🌍

Pansexual and panromantic people bring boundless joy, openness, and authenticity to our community. You remind us that love thrives in freedom, not restriction, and your stories highlight the beauty of loving people for who they are above all else. 💛🩷💙

$5 might not seem like a lot — but every dollar brings us closer to our goal of full, lived equality for LGBTQ+ people in Nevada and beyond. So, just for today, maybe skip that coffee order? ♥️ #GivingTuesday

For the first time since 1988, the federal government will be silent on World AIDS Day. Yet even if this administration refuses to recognize it, we remember and mourn the lives lost to the disease — and our commitment to fighting for those living with AIDS remains unbroken.

While we uplift the memory of those who paved the way, we mourn the devastating, relentless violence that trans people, especially Black trans women, still face. Miss Major & Sir Lady Java dedicated their lives to the rights of trans women, & we’ll continue their fight in their honor & memory. 🩷🕯️💙

Close to the end of day 5 of Lombardo’s corporate special session. While he’s forced legislators to debate #HollywoodHandouts, we could’ve paid for:

• Childcare for 630 families for the entire month of November.
• School lunches for 194,000 CCSD students
• SNAP benefits for 80,645 Nevadans

LGBTQ+ servicemembers have long faced rejection instead of recognition, discharged for their identities despite their commitment to serve. Their sacrifice, stories, and memory deserves our honor & respect.

The love, pride, and joy of transgender parents & the parents of transgender children reminded us why we fight, who we fight for, and that while the road ahead is long, we walk it together. 💙🤍🩷

Despite restricting access to care for trans people, some states still allow medically unnecessary & invasive surgeries on intersex children and infants, without their full understanding or consent. Everyone deserves autonomy over their bodies, regardless of who they are. 💛💜

This year at our SSEQ Luncheon, we were grateful to share a conversation with George M. Johnson, author of All Boys Aren't Blue—the most banned book in the country. Stories like theirs deserve to be read, told, & celebrated. We condemn any effort to silence LGBTQ+ voices. @amlibraryassoc.bsky.social
