I completely agree with the argument about need and/or desire.There have been several studies recently showing that internet is causing both to diminish.Young people glued to their phones is partly responsible for declining teenage pregnancies. So at least one good thing about teenagers on SM!

When ends justify the means,I've found that the "means" come back to haunt us. Trump negotiating with the vice-president means no regime change.He has made it clear all he wants is oil. Only the future will tell us if any good comes out of this but considering the people involved,I am not hopeful.

Oh what a way to start the year. Any hope that this year might be slightly just slightly better just got burnt down in the biggest bonfire ever. Sorry for the purple prose, I can't find words to describe the doom I feel.

The multiple sources all say the same thing:Mamdani feels this is not the right time. He is not "sabotaging" or stabbing anyone in the back but instead is "distancing" himself from something he does not believe is the priority for him. He is not the national Dem leader but a city mayor.

Today was not on the same grounds as his conviction 3 weeks ago which has been appealed and the appeal will be heard in it's own time. Today the only matter before the court was whether the accused is a flight risk etc and if there are grounds to not grant him release under "contrôle judiciaire".
