In theory I agree but that is a sledgehammer to your confidence getting hooked that early as a defender, especially as a centre back because that's a position you shouldn't really change unless absolutely forced to

Exactly, and with the constant changes in the backline it's not helpful to have a centre back who's basically a liability at this point, as teams are targeting him.

He needs a kick up the arse, potentially dropping for a few games as he's made a lot of mistakes this season and major ones. I hate to play the blame game but Konate changed the momentum of a game that should've been comfortable in Leeds favour and is culpable for 2 of their goals

That and letting Konate have the ball, knowing he's got a few mistakes per game in him and Van Dijk can't carry him as he's making his own errors at times too
