Seldom in New England, can you find crystal clear waters such as the known Swift River. The lower stretches provide plenty of hiding places for trout in the duckweed, cutbanks and downed trees. Harder access but well worth a shot, to escape the crowds. #flyfishing#flytying

Another bugger variation, on a standard streamer hook size 8. Size 3.8mm tungsten bead. no body hackle just dubbing body, and 3 wraps of pink saddle + dub brush for collar. #flyfishing #flytying

The amalgamation of flat-wing patterns, most complex for me yet. Def needs some work. Steve Culton of currentseams blog really highlights some of the multi feather applications of flat wings. Definitely the biggest head hurter yet. #flyfishing #flytying
