WELL! GOOD NEWS!

Thanks to the good folks at Michaelis, my kitchen is now officially 100% dry. The fans and heaters are gone, and I can hear myself think.

Now, on to the repair phase...!

Yeah, it worked out. The equipment ran for five days straight (and most of the time, I was in New York City), and the guys were just here this morning to check on everything. It's dry, so they've removed the equipment, and we're on to the repair phase.

I asked Georgetown law prof David Super wtf is going on with this latest demand for states to claw back benefits already sent out.
He says the law doesn't allow for this, and if the USDA is mad that states already sent out SNAP money, too bad—they were following USDA's own guidance. Full comments:
