Living in Kansas, I would prefer a lead time of 2 hours. But I’m not someone who would downplay a sense of urgency. I grew up on the gulf coast, so it was comforting to receive 3-5 days’ notice about hurricanes to provide adequate time to prepare. 2 hours gives me time to mentally prepare as well.

Long runs, reading, staying off social media, going to grassroots meetings and protests. That’s all I can do

Can you buy not from Amazon? We should be trying to wean off those international cheap goods especially considering the environmental and human cost

People in general shouldn’t be buying single use goods or fast fashion etc from Temu or Amazon.

Where are people supposed to grow a garden when they live in major metropolitan areas? This isn’t 1950
