At what point is enough enough

People bend over backwards to accommodate them and then hug them when they cry about how Trump fucked them over too

And then say ‘Jerome out’ *drops mic*

Becuase racism is theoretical to white progressive politicians. White folks try to talk you out of labeling actual racist encounters as something else...that we are overreacting. It is thought to be unserious by progressives

It was always confounding why the blatant dog whistling was handwaved away as hysteria. Now that we've slid further into a white nationalist hellscape, these psychos are still being graded on a curve by the media. That clip of Obama asking the press "are you happy now?" should be played on repeat.

The last thing I wrote in my colorblindness piece argued “What we are witnessing, once again, is the alignment of white power against racial justice and redress. As history has shown, maintaining racial inequality requires constant repression and is therefore antithetical to democracy...”

Some of us knew Trump’s rise was always about setting this nation’s racial hierarchy aright. Other chose vibes. And so look at who is being featured on tv news and podcasts and how little coverage the racist policies of this administration are getting.

Too many of us who have spent our lives studying the history racism in this country were dismissed as hyperbolic and hysterical and biased and people who have not studied this history and were willfully blind to the truth of America and been wrong about it all were uplifted as the voices of reason.
