I think if its set up and executed correctly it would be sick to play out like its getting conditioned into the viewer that they need invitation (even though it just happens naturally) but then when actual attention is paid to that trope it turns out nope! It was coincidence

Like I wanna set smth up where every time a vampire is entering somewhere theyre preemptively invited in, and its not emphasized in the moment but the one time a vampire DOES ask and the person says they cant they step through anyways as a subversion of the "needs invitation" thing
