Why you should grow a gesneriad:
1: Fun to hunt out, but usually cheap
2: Often flower intermittently all year
3: Can usually regenerate quickly from small pieces, so plenty of second chances
4: If you're happy temperature wise, they usually are too
5: Often quite weird, even the common ones
